Seattle Northeast is where the UW is found. Many of the school’s employees and academics reside in Ravenna, Wedgwood, Bryant and Roosevelt. The quiet streets and globally minded residents make for a diverse and vibrant quality of life. The U District keeps stride with its youthful population and college life. Just outside its borders lay Lake Washington where Laurelhurst, Windermere and View Ridge offer close-in luxury homes with lake and mountain views. Further north from campus you’ll find the laid back respites of Maple Leaf, Olympic Hills, Victory Heights and Pinehurst. Lake City and Northgate are the major retail districts.
